היא סיימה את הדוקטורט והפוסט-דוקטורט ביהדות זמננו באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, תואר שני בהיסטוריה של המזרח התיכון באוניברסיטת תל אביב, תואר שני במנהל עסקים בינלאומי מאוניברסיטת בר-אילן והתואר ראשון ביחסים בינלאומיים מ- USIU.

היא לימדה קורסים בהיסטוריה, אנגלית, זהות, בין היתר במקצועות באוניברסיטה הפתוחה וב- GMAX. היא מנהלת האגודה לקידום לימודי אמריקה הלטינית בישראל; עורכת ראשית של קוֹרוֹת באמריקה הלטינית; חברה בוועדת העריכה של כתב העת הבינלאומי לדת (IJOR), כתבה העת השיווק הבינלאומי ומכתבי ההגירה; חברה בוועדה המייעצת האקדמית של מכון הדסה-ברנדייס (HBI); חלק הוועדה המארגנת של טעם העיר: ועידות אוכל, מקום ושיווק כנס ההגירה (TMC). מייסדה שותף של הרשת העולמית של כישרונות מקסיקניים בחו»ל – פרק ישראל (Red Global Mx); מנהלת רשימת השפות היהודיות רשימת הפורומים הפמיניסטיים של ישראל; וכתבה Diario Judío ו Kesher.

נושאי המחקר העיקריים שלה הם: אוכל וזהות, לימודי מגדר והנושא היהודי בהגירה.
